Trump's violent assault on the very basis of our Constitution
No one has ever violated his oath so egregiously

It’s simple. It’s clear. In a real sense, this IS the Constitution. Everything in that precious document that follows this opening paragraph is merely a how-to manual for fulfilling these six straightforward purposes.
And Donald Trump’s unprecedented assault on our political life in America is destructive of every single clause.
…in Order to form a more perfect Union…
When has there ever been a more hateful, divisive figure in American political life than Donald Trump? Never.
…in Order to…establish Justice…
What other president, or ex-president, has been (rightfully) impeached twice, and has (rightfully) faced more than a hundred state and federal criminal felony grand jury indictments? None.
…in Order to…insure domestic Tranquility…
What other president incited a violent, armed mob of his supporters to attack the United States Capitol in order to attempt to stop the completion of our constitutionally-mandated electoral college election process? What other ex-president daily agitates and disturbs the domestic Tranquility of the country in pursuit of his own misbegotten, craven, narcissistic political goals? None.

What other president stood by and refused to take any action for hours while the primary seat of the United States government—the U.S. Capitol—and hundreds of law enforcement officers, and all the members of the legislative branch of government, and the Vice-President of the United States and his family, and all of the innocent people inside that building, were being viciously attacked by a violent mob that he sent? None.
…in Order to…promote the general Welfare…
What other president has ever so deeply damaged all the people of the United States with such evil political antics as Donald Trump? None.
…in Order to…secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity…
What other president has so imperiled liberty and the future of the republic? None.
No president, no ex-president, has ever conducted himself even remotely like Donald Trump has done. And every thinking person—in other words everyone who isn’t in the Trump cult—knows it.
If you’re one of those who are still excusing Donald Trump’s unprecedented, extremely dangerous, behavior, just stop. You’re trying to defend the indefensible.
Or, at least, stop pretending that you care one whit about this republic or its Constitution.
